My Favorite Things - 2008

Just the list of things that made 2008 all the more special......

Oh Papa Haydn - the most amazing dessert place in my mind. I salivate just thinking about the delicious dessert - the Panna Cotta, the White Chocolate Mint Torte, the amazing hot chocolate with a dash of meringue flavoring...... I have an incredibly sweet sweet tooth and whenever I go to Papa Haydn I continue to believe that I have died and gone to heaven.

Trek Bikes - Bryce and I finally got road bikes and I couldn't be happier. I feel like such a good friend to the earth everytime we ride our bikes in to work or to church or to New Seasons. Not only that - but I feel oh-so athletic even if I am pedaling like a grandma the entire time. Safety first!!!!!

Our new president - 'nuff said.........

Lulu lemon athletica - as someone who runs year round I am grateful for Lulu lemon. They have the most amazing workout gear. While some of it borders on ridiculously expensive, I have purchased their winter running gloves and running headband which have worked out amazingly well for me during the colder weather.

New Orleans Candle Company in North Portland is absolutely amazing. They sell yummy soy candles and a percentage of their profit actually goes to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Just another reason why I love the St. John's/North Portland neighborhood!
