- Allergy season is here - I spend most mornings sneezing so loudly that I frighten my poor cats, wake up my poor husband, and begin the day with a Rudolph red nose.
- Biking season is here! Bryce and I are fair weather bikers.... meaning that we really only bike when the weather is dry and sunny. Nevertheless, we are biking to work and continuing our daily runs during the workday so we are in pretty darn good shape.
- Work is incredibly busy - lots of new projects to take on. I'm going to spend my summer trying to create a user friendly website for our faculty advisors and am currently helping out with our Summer Immersion program which is launching this summer. We are going to have 36 incoming freshman come to campus, stay overnight for 3 nights, have an opportunity to follow the upper division students out in the clinical setting, play in the lab with faculty, as well as attend seminars led by UP faculty and staff. I hope we have a good turnout because it should be a really fun event.
- Getting ready to go to Mexico for Venessa's wedding in August. I have the dress, have the shoes, have the plane ticket..... now I just need to go have some fun!
- I've been serving as a Research Assistant for the Communication instructor that I had in the Spring semester and it's working out really nicely. I get to make some extra money on the side and get to do a lot of the work at home which is awesome. Any extra money definitely helps!
- The iTouch has become my new, absolute favorite toy. Who would have thought that I would be such a tech geek?
- I just got my new planner - this is probably really only exciting to me sadly.
Other than that - this is going to be a very busy summer full of time with friends and family so I'm looking forward to it!
