How time goes by........

This weekend is graduation for the University of Portland seniors, reminding me that I've been out of school for 4 years now. Today as Bryce and I were leaving cherry blossoms were falling down on us and I remembered how much I love this time of year. I don't like the allergies mind you - but I do enjoy stepping outside and being able to breathe in the anticipation. The hope. The idea that tomorrow is going to bring something new and exciting into my life. So I wanted to wish you a happy spring. I hope that life is treating you well and you are making new discoveries every day. Reflecting on life since graduation, I've changed jobs, moved homes, got married and learned how to swim. I still read as much as possible and enjoy doing the NY Times crossword puzzles - and in pen! How bold! I've realized that once you walk across that stage and get your diploma your education doesn't stop there. Everyone can be a life long learner. For me I hope to continue to read voraciously, learn another language, get my Master's and maybe try to bring some peace to this crazy world. What about you? Happy spring - sink your teeth into the endless opportunities out there.
