The Amazon Kindle - Oprah was right, this little device would change my life. I love my Kindle - it's small, light, and can carry thousands of books. It was especially handy when Bryce and I were travelling in Spain. I loaded up several books and didn't need to worry about making my bag even heavier. I still love actual books and will continue to collect them, however the Kindle is fantastic for travelling and also for saving on paper. In addition, there are always numerous free books available through Amazon and you can have several people on one account so that you can share books altogether. Bookclubs for the digital age!
Keel's Simple Diary. I love journaling however I don't always have the most fascinating stories to write about. However, this is the beauty of Keel's Simple Diary. With multiple choice questions, short answer questions, and boxes to doodle in, this diary will prompt you to search within yourself for depth, silliness and wit you may have never thought existed. I've grown to really enjoy journaling right before bed in this incredibly simple diary.
I love Pandora. I really do. It makes my work day go by a little faster, it makes my life a little sunnier, and it helps me discover new artists on a regular basis. Even though it has limited the number of hours that I can listen to it for free, I have diligently created additional email accounts in order to continue to have access to this amazing website.
Cha Taqueria - I don't have a picture but this was my favorite place to eat in 2009. Amazing happy hour, great service, and a delicious $5 tequila feliz too! By the way, that is a shot of tequila with a Dos Equis beer - delicious. This has ended up becoming one of our go-to places for when we want to eat outside in the sunshine, or had such a bad day we just need some delicious mexican food to make it a little better.
